Easter is over for another year and school holidays are finished and we are back on deck today cutting cushion and table runner orders to be sewn later today. Thank you for your orders over the Easter Break, that is the best thing about online shopping that we are open 24 – 7 and the store is never closed! I know myself I did a little online shopping over the break and am excitingly waiting for a new car bike carrier and a lovely white hammock (not sure how long it will stay white!).
It seems we were all outdoors enjoying the magical Easter weather over the long weekend. I loved seeing our products being enjoyed over Easter and featured on Instagram. Carla Burns from Vanilla Pod Specialty Cakes, Vanilla Pod Cafe (119 B Lancaster Road, Ascot QLD) and Creative Crimes (@creative_crimes) earned a well earned rest and used our lumber cushions to relax on her inner city verandah.
Also in Brisbane, the queen of tabletop styling, Lana Caves (@lanacaves_styling on Instagram or email@example.com) was doing what she does best over the weekend and created the most gorgeous Easter lunch table on her verandah featuring our Oasis Palm Table Runner ($25). With a classic colour combination of green with blue and white Lana’s Easter tablescape took my breath away! I am sure Lana’s family were equally impressed as were her Instagram friends.
A little south, at Currumbin Lisa of Oars Galore took a break from hand crafting specialty oars to spend time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Easter weekend weather on her waterfront patio. Lisa’s home is a perfect example of modern coastal / nautical style and our Blue and White Stripe Outdoor Cushions are still looking good on her adirondak chairs after a few years.
Finally, for me I spent the break outdoors in our local area of Dayboro with my 3 boys, Leonard, Edward and Rowan making the most of the perfect days. There was lots of kayaking, snorkeling, paddling, fishing and swimming with long walks and bike rides thrown in for good measure. It was difficult to wake this morning and prepare for school today… the countdown is on for our next lot of holidays!
